Welcome to the web site hosted by the This web site provides information about souvenir spoon collecting clubs in the United States and the Spoon Collecting National Liaison Committee (NLC). The five clubs are located in the northeast, the southwest, Southern California and Washington state. They all have elected officers and democratic procedures for making club decisions and contribute financial support to the NLC. They have geographically dispersed membership, hold regular meetings and sponsor activities for spoon collectors. Please click the "Spoon Clubs" link at left to learn more about each club. National Liaison Committee The National Liaison Committee's was born at the Annual Spoon Convention in Atlanta in 1995. By acclamation of the attendees, it was made clear that spoon collectors wanted annual conventions so they could gather to trade and sell spoons, to participate in workshops and lectures on souvenir spoon collecting topics, and to make new friends and foster continuing spoon collecting relationships. - coordinate the Annual Spoon Convention for at least the next two years. - maintain and fund the National Spoon Collectors Research and Reference Library. - maintain a web site to promote the National Liaison Committee and support the regional clubs the National Liaison Committee represents. - maintain a National Address List of Spoon Collectors for the exclusive use of the clubs whose representatives comprise the National Liaison Committee. - not
